An Incomplete Thought

"I don't have much to say, but sometimes I get upset by the fact that not enough people use their minds. We all hear it everyday; the cashier that can't do math in their heads, the individual who can't spend enough money to solve their own problems, the fool down the street who can't make up their mind on what to do. I feel that the mind can be as idle as the water on a windless day, but also as wild as a hurricane..."

dA Appreciation Day

  • Mood: Anger
As an observation of Appreciation Day for deviantART, I've been observing a streak of new and old artists using Random Deviant as inspired by a forum topic. These pages are barren, desolate, and lesser-known, even the ones that have deviations. Though some will be offended, I think that making pages with no art is a waste of talent when no one notices. Yet in the years that come, there may be a number of deviants equivalent to today's population on Earth. I may understand that some of us would prefer to be left in the shadows, but then again why be a member if you do not want attention.

I DARE anyone to read this and make a comment. At least it will show an inkling of care and appreciation.

Sphere Designing

As a start, I'll begin by making art with the sphere designer from the GIMP. Not the best of choices, but it's a start.

Why I'm A Phantom

...It's what I call "pensive logic". Usually, I can't give a decent remark on the spot without making myself look stupid. Also, I don't bother commenting because I know the artist isn't going to reply to me. I, as a commentor, feel that I need some feedback. Think about it. In addition, art faving should be a self-explanatory (meaning that you have good art or that you're a good artist). However, unfavs shouln't be such a concern (because you have others who like the dev's work).

For those of you who don't know, a phantom on dA is someone who faves, watches, and/or unfavs deviants and their deviations without giving visible justification of criticism (In other words, phantoms don't give praise for the work they just faved or the reason why they watch other deviants). While most deviants don't even notice or just ignore it, Phantoms on dA seem to irritate some deviants more than other devs. Just because I don't comment or put up work doesn't mean that I should be discriminated against. Some people think different...

Just Another Week Of Life

...Would you believe that for most of my life, I'm always multi-tasking, even in my sleep?

Well, I think so. I always find myself planning more things to do than I can fit in my schedule. Probably it's because I end up BSing myself in the end, which is common. That's a little thing I felt like saying.

In the art department, you should know nothing's moving anytime soon. I'll let you know when it does.

Just for explaination, I typed today because I don't want the other stupid journal to hang around for another week or so. Yet, who would bother reading this one?
